Nodaway health officials confirm 14 more cases of COVID-19


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health Department has confirmed 14 more cases of COVID-19 in the county.

The Health Department says the latest patients are a male child, three male teens, three female teens, one woman in her 20s, three men in their 20s, a man in his 30s, and two men in their 60s.

Health officials say this now brings the number of COVID-19 cases in the county up to 567. Officials add that 270 of those 567 cases are still active.

There have been 16 hospitalizations since the pandemic began, and six are currently still hospitalized. The Health Department continues to strongly urge that residents social distance and practice good hygiene.
